This policy explains in plain language how Saywell trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refunds work. Saywell is a product provided by PsycFin Pty Ltd (ABN 81 697 454 345). Saywell is not a separate legal entity or registered business name.
This policy forms part of the customer agreement and should be read with the Adviser Terms of Service. If they conflict, the Adviser Terms govern. Nothing here removes a consumer guarantee, refund right or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Monthly plan USD $179 per authorised adviser seat, billed monthly in advance. It renews each month until cancelled. —————- ——————————————————
Annual plan USD $1,790 per authorised adviser seat, billed yearly in advance. It renews each year until cancelled. —————- ——————————————————
Before payment, checkout displays the selected plan, number of seats, total price, billing frequency, applicable tax and automatic-renewal terms. The Customer must affirmatively select and authorise the subscription. Nothing is pre-selected on the Customer’s behalf.
PsycFin sends an annual-renewal reminder before the renewal charge. Monthly plans do not require a reminder before every ordinary monthly renewal, but invoices or receipts remain available through the billing process.
Prices are stated in US dollars. Applicable taxes are charged only where required and are disclosed before payment. PsycFin does not charge Australian GST while it is not registered for GST.
An eligible Customer may receive a 14-day free trial without providing a payment method. The trial ends without charge unless the Customer affirmatively adds a payment method and chooses a paid monthly or annual plan. Silence or continued account inactivity does not authorise a charge.
An eligible referred Customer may receive a 30-day free trial on the same no-card-to-start basis. It must add a payment method and choose a paid plan before any charge. Referral eligibility and credits are governed by the Adviser Terms.
An invited beta Customer may receive its first ten weeks for a total of USD $10 per participating adviser seat. A payment method is required to pay the USD $10. Unless cancelled before the beta period ends, each continuing seat converts to the standard monthly plan at USD $179 per seat per month. PsycFin sends a reminder before the first standard charge.
Once beta access begins, the USD $10 is non-refundable except where law requires a refund or PsycFin ends access without Customer fault. This means there is no voluntary change-of-mind refund for the beta payment. Cancelling during beta prevents conversion to the standard plan; access continues to the end of the ten-week period already paid. If PsycFin ends beta access early without Customer fault, the USD $10 is refunded in full.
Only one trial, beta offer, promotional offer or referral benefit applies to a seat or subscription period unless PsycFin expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
A valid referral credit applies automatically to a future invoice. Credits may accumulate without limit, have no cash value, are non-transferable and cannot be sold. They never create a cash refund, payout or negative invoice balance. If a credit exceeds the amount otherwise due, the unused balance remains available for a later eligible invoice.
A credit may be reversed if its qualifying payment is refunded, charged back, fraudulent or otherwise invalid under the Adviser Terms. Referral benefits do not combine with the beta offer.
The Customer may cancel a subscription through the online account process. Cancellation must be reasonably easy to locate and complete and does not require a telephone call. PsycFin provides a recorded confirmation showing the effective cancellation date and any annual-plan refund.
Monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly billing period. Access continues until that date, and no further monthly charge is made.
Annual cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month of service. Access continues through that month. PsycFin refunds each remaining unused whole month using the annual plan’s effective monthly rate.
ANNUAL REFUND FORMULA. Refund = the annual subscription fee paid for that seat multiplied by the number of unused whole months, divided by 12, with the result rounded once to the nearest cent. At the current USD $1,790 annual price, one unused whole month is USD $149.17. The refund is calculated on the amount actually paid in money after any referral credit; a credit applied to the refunded period is restored as a credit, never as cash. The refund can never exceed the annual fee paid for that seat.
A month of service runs from the annual subscription’s start or renewal date to the day before the corresponding date in the next calendar month. If a month does not contain that date, the service month ends on the last day of that month.
Seat changes are made by contacting support; where a seat change would end the subscription entirely, the online cancellation process applies. Each adviser seat is treated according to its billing plan. Removing a monthly seat takes effect at the end of its current monthly period. Removing an annual seat follows the annual cancellation rule and refund formula above. Removing a seat does not itself delete Customer records.
There is no change-of-mind refund for a partly used monthly billing period. “Cancel anytime” means the Customer may prevent the next renewal charge; it does not reverse the current month’s valid charge. Access ordinarily continues until that paid period ends.
A Customer cancelling an annual subscription receives the unused-whole-month refund described in section 5.2. No refund is given for the current month of service merely because the Customer cancels partway through it.
If PsycFin ends a subscription for a reason not caused by the Customer, it may continue access until the end of the paid period. If access ends earlier, PsycFin refunds the prepaid amount attributable to the undelivered period. For a monthly plan, this is calculated proportionately for the undelivered part of the paid month. For an annual plan, it includes the undelivered part of the current service month plus all remaining unused whole months at the effective monthly rate.
No refund is due where access is proportionately suspended or terminated because of the Customer’s material breach, unlawful conduct, security abuse or non-payment, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
If PsycFin charges an incorrect amount or charges after an effective cancellation, it corrects the error and refunds any amount not properly due. The Customer should report a suspected error promptly to hello@saywellhq.com with enough information to locate the charge.
PsycFin initiates an approved refund to the original payment method within ten business days after the amount is determined. The bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit. If the original method cannot accept the refund, PsycFin arranges another lawful method with the Customer.
If the Customer terminates an affected Service under the DPA after the parties cannot resolve a reasonable data-protection or regulatory objection to a new subprocessor, the refund and cancellation rules already set out in this policy apply. A monthly subscription ends at the close of its current paid period with no further charge. An annual subscription ends at the close of the current month of service and receives the unused-whole-month refund described in section 5.2. This path creates no separate refund formula. The objected-to provider does not process the Customer’s information before the termination takes effect.
If a payment fails, PsycFin may pause drafting and place the account in read-only mode while payment recovery occurs. Information is not deleted merely because payment fails. If all amounts properly due are paid before the account is deemed cancelled, full access resumes in place using the existing account and information, subject only to reasonable security checks.
An account that remains 60 days past due is deemed cancelled. The account remains read-only while the 90-day export window runs from that cancellation date, after which deletion proceeds under the DPA and Privacy Policy. If payment of all amounts properly due is accepted before deletion begins, PsycFin may resume the account in place rather than requiring a new account, subject to reasonable security checks. A failed annual renewal does not create a new paid annual period unless payment succeeds.
PsycFin gives at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase. An increase applies no earlier than the first renewal after the notice period and never changes the price of a prepaid annual period already under way. The Customer may cancel before the new price takes effect.
After cancellation, the Customer has a 90-day period to request or complete the available export. PsycFin then deletes Customer and client information within the following 35-day period, subject to a specific lawful Restricted Hold. Export and deletion details are governed by the DPA and Privacy Policy.
If Saywell is discontinued or PsycFin winds down, PsycFin gives affected Customers reasonable notice, stops future renewals and applies the existing refund mechanics to any paid Service it will not deliver. Monthly Customers retain access through the paid period where practicable or receive the proportional refund described in section 6.3. Annual Customers receive the refund described in section 6.3 for any undelivered part of the current service month and all remaining unused whole months.
PsycFin then gives all Customers a 90-day export window and deletes Customer and client information within the following 35-day period. After that process, PsycFin retains only its own statutory financial records and any specific record that law or a court order requires to remain in Restricted Hold.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, refund right, remedy or liability that applies by law and cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. This includes any applicable protection under the Australian Consumer Law and any mandatory protection applying to a US Customer.
A statement that a payment is non-refundable means only that PsycFin does not offer a voluntary change-of-mind refund in that circumstance. It does not limit a remedy for a failure to provide the Service with a legally required standard of care, a major service failure, an incorrect charge or another non-excludable right.
